It was 1920 when Salvatore Mancuso, with a cart and great enthusiasm, began selling artisanal gelato on the streets of Philadelphia and Detroit.\nIn 1958, his son Vincenzo brought this tradition to England, where he founded a small industry that immediately won the hearts of the British.\nBut the call of Sicily was too strong.
